Do you like working equally with your hands AND brain? Are you looking for a rewarding and lucrative field in Alaska and beyond? Looking for a program that is recognized by major and minor oil and gas companies as one of the best in the WORLD? You have come to the right college!

With more than 50 years of experience collaborating with industry to make KPC’s process technology one of the most highly regarded programs in existence, students get cutting-edge academic and experiential experiences from highly qualified faculty. The program is administered from KRC's state-of-the-art Career and Technical Center with simulators and equipment on par with current industry standards.

High demand is expected for process operators as the existing workforce retires and as the industry evolves and expands in Alaska and throughout the United States.

The graduates of the KPC Process Technology program have gone on to work for companies like, Marathon Petroleum, ConocoPhillips, Blue Crest Energy, Exxon Mobil, ASRC Energy Services, Alyeska Pipeline Service Company, and many more.

Since many students can be living throughout Alaska, 48 states, or offshore, KPC offers video streaming of all courses, allowing students to view classes from their place of employment at their leisure.

This program is based at the Kenai River Campus. The bulk of the program can be taken online, however a few of the courses have hands-on labs that are taught in a lab intensive method to minimize trips to campus. Many working adults have successfully complete this program. Most of the courses are also offered face-to-face at the Kenai River Campus in Soldotna.
