COVID-19 Relief Funding

Support for Kenai Peninsula College students experiencing financial difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic is now available on a limited basis. Please review the following funding opportunities and apply today.

Kachemak Bay Campus COVID-19 Scholarship

Kenai Peninsula College Kachemak Bay Campus is offering $500 in funding for KPC students who are experiencing financial difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

This funding has been made available through a grant from the City of Homer and the CARES Act. 

Applicants must meet the criteria below in order to qualify:

  • Resident of Homer, Alaska
  • Admitted or have pending admission to the University of Alaska
  • Enrolled in 6 or more KPC credits
  • Conduct in good standing
  • Student employee wage replacement is not a qualifying factor
  • Complete all required information on the application

This funding is available through December 18, 2020. Prompt submission of applications for assistance is strongly encouraged. Contact Kim Frost 907.235.1658 kafrost2@alaska.edu if you need further assistance.

Kenai Peninsula College Kenai River Campus is offering $500 in funding for KPC students who are experiencing financial difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

This funding has been made available through a grant from the City of Soldotna and the CARES Act. 

Applicants must meet the criteria below in order to qualify:

  • Resident of Soldotna, Alaska
  • Admitted or have pending admission to the University of Alaska
  • Enrolled in 6 or more KPC credits
  • Conduct in good standing
  • Student employee wage replacement is not a qualifying factor
  • Complete all required information on the application

The Damon Foundation Endowment through Kenai Peninsula College is offering up to $500 in funding for KPC students who are experiencing financial difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic. These funds are specifically dedicated to helping students with expenses other than tuition. 

Applicants must meet the criteria below in order to qualify:

  • Kenai Peninsula Resident
  • Enrolled in 6 or more KPC credits
  • Conduct in good standing
  • Financial hardship must be related to the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Student employee wage replacement is not a qualifying factor
  • Complete all required information on this form

The amount of founding from the Damon Foundation Endowment is limited. If you need assistance with tuition, there may be other resources. Contact KPC Financial Aid Department at kpc.financial.aid@alaska.edu 907.262.0332 if you need further assistance.
